Description

The Best Entry-level Board

Start 2 Windsurf Board

The best entry-level board for both windsurfing and winging. Feel the stability from the thick middle rails and how the long, flat bottom and rounded tail create immediate glide while the nose kick gets you over any chop. When you start gliding, the feel is efficient and balanced. With a bit more wind, you can move backwards, put your back foot out of the coloured area, and start planning with confidence.

You tack quickly with the 22 cm Drake Shallow fin, which provides solid stability while moving the feet to the other side. Your gybes progress fast with the thinned-out tail and rounded front rails. The daggerboard sits further back than usual to make it easier to go upwind, avoiding getting backwinded. This makes even strong wind-upwind sailing great fun. The coloured oval in the middle of the standing area guides you towards your entry-level standing position. Side fins are not to be used for windsurfing.

Retractable Daggerboard

The retractable daggerboard with a soft handle is easy to move backwards for planning and down for upwind. Thanks to the Clipperbox system, it always stays in the right place.

Drake Shallow Fin

The stiff and wide Drake Shallow 22cm fin delivers power directional traction and is perfect for shallow Waters.

Carry Handle And Carry Straps

The built-in carry handle ensures practical board transportation under your arm. An additional strap is positioned at the tail if you wish to drag the board up from the water, and another is placed at the nose so two people can carry the board together over a longer distance.

Looking For A Sail?

Enhance your beginner or progression board with Starboard SUP Windsurfing sails. Lightweight, powerful, and durable, these sails are an excellent choice for entry-level windsurfers, offering versatility and Performance.
